Where we work
Danner cooperates with organizations internationally by building network among organizations working with gender equality and domestic violence. Danner also facilitates workshops about understanding violence, and how to take care of yourself, if you are working as a professional with survivors of domestic violence.
Together with sister organisations and partners in various countries and regions, we identify themes of intervention according to the local context. This means that we develop and implement projects and training modules in close cooperation and through mutual dialogue with partners.
Danner’s knowledge and methods are based not only on feminist values and a long time praxis of working with survivors of violence, it is also based on theoretical studies and the latest international research. We can only succeed by keep insisting on becoming more nuanced and knowledge based when it comes to working with victims of violence, providing respectful counseling services and working on public awareness programs and advocacy work to end violence against women and children.
